He was born in Como on 1st January 1955 and graduated in architecture in 1980 at the Polytechnic of Milan.
As self-employed architect, he specialized in interior renovation and design of shops and stand, preparation of conference rooms, showcases, exhibitions and fashion shows, assistance of the suppliers and works management.
In the eighties works with Ettore Sottsass jr. for the design of the shop Fiorucci in Amsterdam and with Barrese & C. as general director and responsible for several projects including the chain of stores hi-fi expert.
In the nineties he was consultant for design and construction of clothing stores for men and women of Romeo Gigli in Italy and abroad, also made for Sergio Rossi shops and corners in Beirut, Dubai, Kiev, Kuwait, Miami, Moscow, New York, Paris “Gallerie la Fayette”, Prague, St. Petersburg, Warsaw, Zaporozhye (UKR); then, a showroom of Via Montenapoleone in Milan and of Madison Avenue in New York, as well as a corner in Moscow for Max Mara and the shop-window design for Iceberg shops in Milan, Riccione, Rome and Paris.
In 2003 he followed the design of several clothing stores in Baku (Az.) and Aix en Provence.
Among the restructuring and furnishing projects of houses and apartments situated in different locations, there are: in 1999 in Nice; in 2000 in Aix en Provence; in 2002 in La Maddalena in the province of Sassari; in 2003 two houses in Moscow and a residential building in Milan. Moreover, in 2001 Albini realized the bar restaurant “Karr” in Nice, and in 2004, together with architect Emanuela Venturini, the “C”dream the lounge & bar of Costa Cruises in Genoa.
From 2005 to today, alternating his personal experiences with the cooperation with architect Emanuela Venturini, he designs products for furniture and upholstered furniture companies, such as Baxter, Oak, Valentini and Rossi of Albizzate and some lamps for Italamp and La Murrina.
In 2006, Albini designed interiors for yachts and won the competition announced by the boat show Seatec of Massa Carrara: this project created the new seat “Londalunga” made by Rossi of Albizzate, which is included in the company production with modular and custom items.
In the same year, the new products designed for Baxter and Italamp were shown in the lounge Eleven of Milan, during the Salone del Mobile in Milan and still for this event, he designed the preparation of the stand “Sensi Riflessi” for Rossi of Albizzate.
Moreover, Albini attended to the preparation of the events of Swarovski, of which he was the consultant for the exhibitions Decosit 2006-2007 in Bruxelles and for Index 2006 in Dubai.
He designed and attended to the realization of the interiors of private homes, shops and showrooms of clothing and footwear in Moscow, in Provence (Fr), in Baku (Az) and Milan.
In November 2007, he designed the preparation of the show “Guest Village” inside the exhibition of Rimini concerning the hotellerie; at the same time, he designed the spaces intended for duty-frees, fashion boutiques and local products at Baku airport.
Also in 2007, cooperated with office Reifig-Graphic Design of Athens and began to deal with the renovation and furnishing of private homes and shops in Athens and Cyprus.
In recent years, was also professor of “Fashion-store design” in the courses organized by the National Chamber of Fashion and by Marangoni Insitute in Milan.
